What is the difference between Wix and Custom?
Custom Build is $500 one-time for a site built from scratch for speed, with pages that are easy for Google and AI to read. It's ready for tools like chat, booking and auto-emails, and you own your domain and site. Edits after launch are $100 per session. Wix Build is $350 one-time, built in your own Wix account for you to edit yourself. Both include up to 4 pages.
What does Custom Build + Care include?
It's $500 for the build, then $250 per month. You get the custom site with up to 4 pages, plus hosting and upkeep, Google Business Profile management, local SEO upkeep and regular health checks.
What counts as a "page"?
A page has its own URL, like Home, About, Services or Contact. Each build includes up to 4 pages. Extra pages are $150 each.
What happens if I want to cancel?
For Custom Build + Care, give me 30 days notice. You keep your domain, and I hand over your site so you can arrange hosting and upkeep elsewhere. A Wix site is already in your own account, and a standalone Custom Build is yours too.
How does the deposit work?
You see a free demo first. If you'd like to move ahead, a $100 deposit starts the build and counts toward the total price. It's non-refundable once I begin building. Next, you review a private preview. You then pay the remaining balance, and only after the site is paid in full does it go live.
Who buys my domain?
You buy it in your own name and account. For a Wix Build, buy it inside Wix. For a Custom Build or Custom Build + Care, buy it at Cloudflare. I'll help connect it, and it stays yours if you leave.
Do I need to buy anything separately?
Your domain is a separate purchase. Wix clients also pay Wix directly for a plan that supports their own domain. Hosting is included in Custom Build + Care; with a standalone Custom Build, we'll talk through hosting costs before you decide.
How fast can I get a site live?
Typically about a single week from the time I receive your baseline business information and details, sometimes even faster depending on scope.
Do I need to provide the written words and content for the site?
You don't have to write it all yourself. You give me the basic details about your services, pricing, and business history, and I will structure and polish the text so it reads professionally and targets your ideal clients.
Who handles hosting, and is it an extra cost?
With Custom Build + Care, I handle hosting as part of your monthly fee. With a standalone Custom Build, you own the site and we'll talk through hosting separately before you start. Wix hosts a Wix Build through the plan you pay Wix for directly.
Can I use my existing domain name?
Yes. If you already own a domain, I'll help connect it to your site. You keep it in your own name. For a Wix Build, you'll need a paid Wix plan to use your own domain.
What exactly does "Local SEO upkeep" include?
It means keeping your Google Business Profile accurate, checking that your site's service-area and local search details stay correct, and making updates when local search best practices shift.
What counts as a small edit?
Changes to text, photos and business hours are small edits. For a standalone Custom Build, edits after launch are $100 per session. With Custom Build + Care, I handle ongoing upkeep. Wix clients make their own edits. New pages and redesigns are quoted separately, with extra pages at $150 each.
Can we change or add things to the site later on?
Yes. Send me what you have in mind and we'll talk it through. Small edits, new pages and redesigns are different kinds of work, so I'll make the cost clear before starting.
Will my website work properly on phones and tablets?
Yes, completely. Every site is built using responsive design, meaning it automatically refits, scales, and balances perfectly on iPhones, Androids, tablets, and desktop setups alike.
How do we get started?
Simply call, text, or email me. We will take about 10 minutes to review what you need, ensure the scope aligns perfectly with your goals, and outline the setup plan from there.

How do I create a Wix account?
Go to wix.com, click Sign Up, and use an email address you control and want tied to your site. Confirm the email, then send me the address you used. This is a regular Wix account, and it's the one that will own your site.
How do I accept my website transfer?
Look for an email from Wix with the subject "Wix Website is Being Transferred to You." Click Accept Transfer and sign in (or sign up, using the same email I sent the transfer to). Review the details and click Next. If your site includes a paid plan or domain, you will enter your billing information and then your domain contact information before clicking Complete Transfer. If it arrives with no paid services, you just accept and sign in. Invites expire, so accept soon, and if yours does expire I will send it again.
How do I add you as a collaborator on my Wix site?
In your site dashboard, go to Settings, then Roles & Permissions, and click Invite People. Enter the email address I send you and choose the role I tell you to pick, usually one that lets me edit and publish but not manage billing, delete, or transfer your site. I will accept the invite by email.
How do I remove you as a collaborator?
Go back to Settings, then Roles & Permissions, find my name, choose Remove, and confirm. My access ends right away. Only the site owner can do this, and your site, domain, and content stay yours. If you want me back later, just invite me again.
How do I buy a domain name?
A domain is your web address. For a Wix Build, sign in to your own Wix account, open Domains, search for your preferred name and buy it using your own contact and billing details. You'll need a paid Wix plan to connect it, and some yearly plans include the first year of a domain. For a custom build, create your own Cloudflare account, open Domain Registration, search for your name and complete the purchase in your own name. Prices vary, so check at checkout. If you already have a domain, I'll help connect it instead.
How do I purchase a Wix plan?
Each Wix site has its own plan. In your site dashboard, look for the upgrade or plans option, pick a plan, and enter your payment details. Until you do, your site stays on a free Wix address. After upgrading, you still need to connect your domain, because it does not switch over automatically. Not sure which plan fits? Ask me before you buy.
